Sunday, reduced team gathered again in Belleheid to see a level of 90cm, coming from 110cm after the night's rain but slowly dropping due to lower temperatures. The high level on the gauge early in the morning had clearly scared away most of the paddlers, no parking problems today! A nice&speedy run down the upper Hoegne (significantly less pushy than the day before but still good fun, portaging cascatelles and Leopold II) was complemented with the middle Hoegne, also good fun at this level but with a lot of trees in the way. A small weir even surprised Jommeke, leading to a short stop in a quite dynamic eddy together with some barbed wire and tree logs.Mr Guide
